Fulop And Scotland To Move On?
Ipswich Town goalkeeper Marton Fulop and striker Jason Scotland are both attracting interest from several other clubs, according to various reports.
Fulop is understood to be a target for Turkish side Bursaspor, who are believed to have turned their attentions to the Hungarian international after failing to tempt Scott Carson from West Bromwich Albion. Meanwhile frontman Scotland, who netted 10 league goals for the Blues in 2010/11, is reportedly a target for League One side Sheffield Wednesday. The Trinidad international, who turned 32 in February, is thought to be interesting Owls boss Gary Megson as he looks to improve his strikeforce.
Both Fulop and Scotland only signed for Town in August last year, with each costing around £750,000 from Sunderland and Wigan Athletic respectively. With just one year remaining on each of their current contracts however, it is possible that new Blues manager Paul Jewell will be tempted to cash in on the pair. The Town boss is known to be targeting further additions to his front line, whilst a new first-choice goalkeeper to provide competition for Arran Lee-Barrett also looks a possibility.
