Sky Select Town Trip To Posh

Sky Select Town Trip To Posh

Ipswich Town's trip to newly-promoted Peterborough United has been chosen for live coverage on Sky TV.

The Championship fixture, originally scheduled for 3pm, will now kick off at 5:20pm on Saturday 20 August (channel TBC). It will be Town's first televised match since the 2-0 victory at Cardiff City in March.

Ipswich will be hoping for a better performance than their last trip to London Road in February 2010, when Roy Keane's relegation-threatened side suffered a 3-1 defeat to then bottom of the table Posh. Despite that result, Town went on to secure their Championship status whilst Peterborough slipped back into League One, though their stay in the third tier lasted just one season before promotion through the playoffs in May.

Details of all Town's televised matches as well as those for the rest of the Football League will be made available on the Official Football League Website.
