Stockdale Hails Town Fans As Among The Best

David Stockdale has spoken of his sadness at leaving Town and described the supporters among the best in the land, well he tweeted it actually but still good of him.

The England squad keeper has been recalled by Fulham as we feared would happen yesterday and is likely to be in their Premier League side on the weekend.

He was inelegible to play in tonight's Europa League game as he was not registered to play in the tournament.

But as he returned to Craven Cottage he had a few kind words for Town supporters who have taken him to their hearts.

Stockdale tweeted: 'Sad to be leaving such a great club with great people and some of the best fans in the country! But happy to be back at Fulham come on boys!'

I'm sure Town fans will join me in wishing him well for Fulham and England although I fear we will never see him in a Town shirt again.

Do you have a message for David?
