Jack Of All Trades Ready To Leave Town

Jack Ainsley has signed a new 18-month contract with the Blues but expects to go out on loan in a couple of weeks.

The 21-year-old who has played up front and in defence for the Academy, but only twice this season as centre half for the senior side.

He penned a six-month deal last summer Town boss Paul Jewell has put his faith in the local Suffolk boy by giving him a new deal until 2013.

And Ainsley fully expects to be loaned out to as lower league club in January to gain more experience.

'Obviously I'm delighted to have agreed a new contract,' Ainsley told itfc.co.uk.

'The fact it's for 18 months, which is longer than I have signed before, is a confidence booster. The manager has shown a lot of faith in me and now I want to repay him.

'He has told me he'd like to get me out on loan in January so I can play some competitive games and then come back to the club and start pushing for a place in the summer.'
