Loanee keeper Stephen Henderson on loan for three months has told how his desire to play games attracted him to Ipswich.
'I've not played much football this season,' Henderson said when he was unveiled officially today, 'so when I was told I could go out on loan, my agent contacted Ipswich and once I knew they wanted me, that was it.
"Anyone who knows me will tell you I`m not the type of player who wants to sit on the bench and pick up his wages.
"So when I got told I could go out on loan and I knew Ipswich were keen, it was an easy decision for me.
'I've played here a few times. It's a fantastic football club and I'm really looking forward to the three months here and showing what I can do.'
The 24-year-old is nailed on to replace Scott Loach for Saturday's trip to Hull, after two costly errors from the former Watford keeper helped Cardiff to a 2-1 victory 10 days ago.
Paul Jewell said: 'Scott's confidence has taken a little knock just lately - that happens to every player at some stage.
'He'll get through it and be better for it but bringing Stephen in gives us other options, along with Arran as well.'
Henderson is Town's eighth loanee this sesaon, with the maximum allowed being 10.
