'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Chris Bids Town Farewell

Chris Hutchings has left the Blues following Mick Mccarthy's arrival.

Hutchings became Paul Jewell`s assistant in January 2011 and was caretaker for the tonking by Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday.

He told the club website: 'I`ve enjoying working for this fantastic football club over the last 20 months.

"I`d like to wish the owner, the players and all the staff the very best of fortunes for the future.

"I`d also like to wish Mick and Terry the best of luck at Portman Road."

Town chief executive Simon Clegg added: "I`d like to thank Chris for his outstanding services to Ipswich Town and wish him well for the future."
