Blues Set To Miss Out On Gunner

Wolves are looking favourite to land Emmanuel Frimpong, despite Mick McCarthy's interest.

Frimpong played for Mccarthy on loan before the the Blues boss is hoping that could help persuade to join us instead of going back to Wolves.

The 20-year-old midfielder was hugely popular with players and fans before his half-season long spell was cruelly cut short when he ruptured his cruciate knee ligament in the 2-1 win at QPR on February 4.

Wolves boss Stale Solbakken wants any new arrivals to provide extra dimensions to what he already has in his squad.
