Ipswich have pipped Millwall and signed Aaron Mclean on loan from Hull City until the end of the season.
Mclean`s was left out of the last two Hull squads to face Leeds United and Blackpool, but he has always struggled to prove himself to Steve Bruce this season.
Without a goal since October 6, the striker started just one of the last 14 games.
Ipswich will offer a fresh start to Mclean this season and the move could lead to a permanent deal in the summer if he can impress Mick McCarthy at Portman Road.
