Martin Furious At Town Fine

Lee Martin is livid at being fined two weeks' wages, around £16,000, after being sent off at Nottingham Forest.

The winger was hit with a three match ban but Town fined him the maximum fortnight's wages.

Friends of Martin in london revealed his anger but insisted he was not seeking to leave - just yet.

Meanwhile, the local media have put a postive spin on the fine and quoted manager Mick McCarhty as saying: "I`ve spoken to him about it.

"I wouldn`t tell you what I`ve said, but I`ve spoken to him, of course.

"There is a disciplinary code of conduct. There are rules in place that mean, if you get sent-off, then disciplinary action is taken.

"He`s accepted that, come in and held his hands up."

With Jay Tabb in on loan from Reading and looking at a permanent deal, don't be surprised to see Martin leave in the summer, and probably only playing agin for Town this seasona as a sub - at best.
