Ipswich Seeded For Capital One Cup

When the draw is made for the league cup (Capital One Cup) next week Ipswich will be among the seeded sides.

It was today confirmed that Ipswich are among the 18 seeded sides in the southern area half of the league cup 1st round draw, which will be made a week today on Tuesday 17th June at 10am.

As a result Ipswich has a slightly better chance of a 'favourable draw', and will come up against one of the following sides:-

AFC Wimbledon
Cambridge United
Cheltenham Town
Colchester United
Coventry City
Crawley Town
Dagenham & Redbridge
Exeter City
Gillingham
Luton Town
Newport County
Northampton Town
Oxford United
Plymouth Argyle
Portsmouth
Southend United
Stevenage
Wycombe Wanderers
