August MotM Nomination - McCarthy (Ipswich)

The August nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award are:

Thomas Christiansen (Leeds United)
Quickly won over the Leeds faithful. The Dane has brought in organisation allied to thrilling attacking play, adding up to 11 points from five unbeaten games. Most impressive have been 2-0 away wins at Sunderland and Nottingham Forest.

Mick McCarthy (Ipswich Town)
Four wins from five games is reason enough to be nominated, but doing so when injury and illness has swept through the club is remarkable. McCarthy has demonstrated again both his nous and how much his players trust him.

Nuno Espirito Santo (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
Being given millions to spend doesn`t always translate into results on the pitch, even in the Championship. The Portuguese`s opening salvo has been impressive with three wins in a haul of 10 points from his first five games.

Neil Warnock (Cardiff City)
Promised the Cardiff fans a tilt at promotion back in the spring and delivered handsomely on that pledge in August, leading his side through a perfect month with five wins from five games to sit proudly atop the Championship table.

Winners will be announced on Friday 8th September 2017.
