Club Top Scorers In The Championship 2017

Club Top Scorers In The Championship 2017

With the Championship arguably the toughest it's been for a while with the clubs now in the division, will anybody enter Championship history by the end of the season.

With the relegation of Aston Villa to the Championship the other year, Jonathan Kodjia wrote himself into their history books by becoming their Championship top scorer in his first season - despite missing the end of the campaign injured.

Plenty of others will be hoping to write themselves into the footnotes of history and maybe even the more bizarre pub quiz questions come the end of 2017/18 and for the purposes of this list though, it focuses in on the top scorers following the second tier rebrand in 2004.

Aston Villa's Ross McCormack tops the all time table (across all clubs) with 120 Championship strikes with Sheffield Wednesday's Jordan Rhodes in second, and Sheffield United's Billy Sharp in third.

On a club by club basis though, here's how everyone else falls - source StatBunker.
