Championship 2017/18 Golden Boot Battle (6/2/18)

Championship 2017/18 Golden Boot Battle (6/2/18)

The season might only be a few months old in terms of the calendar, but with high expectations for some players when it comes to this year's Golden Boot battle - here's who stands out so far.

With a number of players already edging towards double figures, we'll have to see if anybody can better Chris Wood at Leeds United last season with his tally of 27, but they'll be a number of people who are hoping they can do just that.

There are more than enough games left for the table below to change so we'll just have to see what happens.

With all but two playing 30 games so far in the 2017/18 campaign I'll limit the list to those who are in the BBC's top table with eight or more strikes.
