Webster In Team Of The Week (27/2/18)

Webster In Team Of The Week (27/2/18)

Ipswich Town are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected following the clash with Preston North End.

The performance by Adam Webster in the one nil victory over Preston North End at the weekend at Deepdale was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Webster was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Impressive in the air and on the ground, Webster was part of a formidable Ipswich defence which helped preserve a one-goal lead at Deepdale.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Webster for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Aaron Chapman (Accrington Stanley), Clark Robertson (Blackpool), Tim Ream (Fulham), Adam Webster (Ipswich Town), Robert Snodgrass (Aston Villa), Joe Newell (Rotherham United), Lee Tomlin (Nottingham Forest), Zeli Ismail (Bury), Kevin Allison (Morecambe), Danny Graham (Blackburn Rovers), Jordan Bowery (Crewe Alexandra).

Manager - Jose Morais (Barnsley).
