A true blue through and through

Biography

I was born in the same hospital as Paul McCartney and and I grew up in a family of Evertonians. I was into my teens when my second favourite club Ipswich came up to division one, under the stewardship of Bill McGarry. It was when he moved on to Wolves and Bobby Robson took the reigns that my love affair with Ipswich Town really began. A small bet that I struck with my big cousin that Town would stay up that season cemented my commitment to the club and from being my second favourite team they quickly became my first and the rest is history. That was 45 years ago but to this day my passion and my enthusiasm for this club remains undiminished. I would admit however, that through almost half a century of support, there have been many more rainy days than sunny one's but for the unconverted, let me say that when the sun shines on Ipswich Town the experience can be positively dazzling and even a pair of shades won't help!
