Should this game go ahead, and it is in doubt given the weather, The Blues are aiming to take their unbeaten league run against Barnsley to five matches.
Town are in decent form but are looking for their first win of 2013, and their eighth in Mick McCarthy's 16th match in charge. Although te Tykes don't do well at Portman Road they seeking a third straight win in league and cup, following Tuesday's FA Cup replay victory over Burnley.
The big thing for Town is to score first as Barnsley have won six of the nine league matches in which they scored first, and failed to win any of the 18 in which opponents netted the opening goal.

Town have a fully fit squad, although Bradley Orr has gone back to Blackburn so Elliott Hewitt could sart.

David Flitcroft selects the side for the fourth time but his first as the full time manager.
He looks set to start midfielder Jacob Mellis after returning as a substitute following a dead leg in the last game.

Jim O'Brien is out after being carried off in the same match, while defender Scott Wiseman, linked with a move to Blackpool, may be left out again.
