Town Look To Sting Hornets

Ipswich are looking for three home wins in a row when Watford visit.

After seeing off Blackpool and Middlesbrough, Town face a stiff test with the Hornets who stuffed Birmingham City 4-0 away on Saturday.

Vital Quotes:

Ipswich Town Team News:

Anthony Wordsworth is out with three cracked vertabrae so lee Martin may get a recall.

Player to watch: David McGoldrick

Quality front man, on and off the ball.

Watford Team News:

Watford are set to miss Joel Ekstrand (knee), Tommie Hoban (ankle) and Fitz Hall (hamstring) once more, with Marco Cassetti staying at centre-half.

Wing-back Daniel Pudil is also a doubt after coming off in the 4-0 win at Birmingham with Craig Forsyth the obvious choice to replace the Czech international.

Jonathan Hogg, John Eustace, Fernando Forestieri and Alex Geijo are all knocking on the door for a start.

Player to watch: Vydra

A genuine goal threat, who is a decent ball player too

Match Prediction:

Watford are firing on all cyclinders while Town scraped by Blackpool. Still, we are in decent home form so we could hold out for a draw 1-1.
