Ipswich Town vs. Hull City

Portman Road

April 13

Town Look To Tame Tigers

Ipswich have been shocking in front of goal all season so the absence of David McGoldrick will be all the more obvious as Town take on second-placed Hull.
The up side, if you can call it that, is the Blues are a difficult side to score against these days and the threat of relegation lifts with each hard fought dull draw, or sneaky 1-0 win.
The Tigers have stuttered of late but are still within range of a Premier League return.

Vital Quotes:

Ipswich Town Team News:

Michael Chopra is likely tostart up front in place of McGoldrick with Daryl Murphy looking to make his 200th English league appearance.
Blues boss Mick McCarthy is considering bringing back Lee Martin after the winger's recovery from illness.

Player to watch: Scott Loach

Will need to be on his toes

Hull City Team News:

Former Blues favourite Alex Bruce misses out through injury but defender Jack Hobbs could make an unlikely return from a serious-looking ankle injury suffered against Watford.
Steve Bruce is confident striker Matty Fryatt could play for the first time since August after suffering an Achilles injury.

Player to watch: Robert Koren

Dangerous playmaker if he starts

Match Facts & Stats

Match Prediction:

Not expecting much in the way of fireworks and a goalless draw is adecent bet, although Hull do tend to win away 1-0 a lot.
