Cardiff City 0 - Ipswich Town 3

Ninian Park

Saturday 25th April 2009, 3pm

Attendance: 19,129

Impressive Start For Tractor Roy

In the last ever game at Ninian Park, there was no dream ending for Cardiff as Ipswich gave Roy Keane a sublime 3-0 win in his first match in charge. The Blues dominated for most of the game, and put in one of the best performances of the season. Ross McCormack had an early penalty saved by Richard Wright, which then gave Town the momentum to cruise to victory thanks to goals from Pablo Counago, David Norris and Jon Stead.

Impressive stuff from the Suffolk side - full report to follow.
