Birmingham City 0 - Ipswich Town 1

St Andrews

November 3

Attendance: 18,063

Town Win

A win's a win and what makes this so special is nt so much it was in Mick McCarthy's first game in charge but the fact we took the lead and held on to it.

DJ Campbell's third goal on loan after just six minutes had no hint of controversy just a quality finish after some good build up work by Lee Martin.

The mercurial winger might have scored himself before fading in the game.

City had their own chances, notably Leroy Lita and Marlon King but Town held on.

The big thing was winning and ending a 12 game streak without tasting victory.
