Town Fall To Rhodes Winner

Jordan Rhodes claimed the winner against old club Ipswich as he set a new Blackburn record of scoring in seven successive games, the frist since the mid-1950s

After a tight first half with little goalmouth excitement, Town shipped yet another from a set play.

Danny Murphy slung in a corner which Luke Chambers half-cleared and although it appeared to come off keeper Stephen henderson, Rhodes also looked to have got atouch.

Rhodes might have added to his and Rovers' tally but headed three decent chances wide, while Town's best effort came from Guirane N`Daw was inches wide with a shot from the edge of the area.
