Blues Beat Blackpool

Michael Chopra scored a stunner to hand Ipswich a boost in the relegation fight.
Chopra ran clear after a superb ball over the top of the Blackpool defence and the toubled striker netted his fifth goal of the season.
Apart from that Ipswich barely troubled Blackpool keeper Matt Gilks while they rode their luck a bit at the other end, especially when Tiago Gomes hit a post.
Anthony Wordsworth had his debut ruined when he got injured on 34 minutes and had to be whisked off to hospial after the game in an ambulance, while sucking happily on gas and air.

Star Player
