Ipswich Town 1 - Leicester City 2

Portman Road

November 23

Attendance: 18,227

That Darn Nugent

After getting stick for hitting a shot so wide it went for a throw in. David Nugent does what he always does at Portman Road and scored.
Not once, but twice, to snatch a win over Ipswich.

The SuperBlues went ahead through a cracking David McGoldrick goal, although Kaspar Schmeichel, should have save fit.

Town dominated for the first half but Tyrone Mings missed a good chance,Luke Chambers went wide with a header and Schiechel made a good save from McGoldrick after a weak back pass fell short.

Bit the Foxes made half-time changes and Town's nemesis scored twice in seven minutes to deny Town victory.

I just knew he would score , but to score two and sink us is such a bummer. To think we tried to buy him when Magic Jim and not so magic Roy were at the helm rubs salt into the wounds.
