Singing The Blues

Singing The Blues

The crowd left Portman Road with spirits high, as Town matched arch rivals Norwich City last weekend.

The disparity in funds was massive and the cost of many of the individual Norwich players amounted to the total cost of the entire Ipswich team. And yet the teams could not be separated on the pitch.

The match ended in a 1:1 draw after an excellent equaliser from Jonas Knudsen just before half time.

Ipswich were the best they have been for years in the first quarter of the match too.

There were many plusses - including new recruits Adam Webster and Grant Ward who both had fantastic games.

We are stronger and with a couple more signings in the pipeline our future looks bright - but not orange.

The future is blue!
